Deleting your VAKA account
Effective date:
You can delete your VAKA account and personal data at any time — in the app or on the website.
In the app or on the website
- Sign in to VAKA with your phone number.
- Open the menu (☰) → “Məxfilik və hesab” (Privacy & account). Direct link: vaka.az/az/mexfilik.
- Tap “Hesabı sil” (Delete account) and confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@vaka.az with your phone number. After you confirm ownership of the number with a one-time code, we start the deletion for you.
What is deleted
- Profile, CVs, photo, video introduction, uploaded files, saved jobs and notification settings.
- Your phone number and name; applications and messages are de-identified.
- Your Saatlıq worker profile and memberships in employer accounts.
What is kept and for how long
For 30 days after the request you can change your mind and cancel the deletion. After 30 days the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
The security audit log and consent history are kept in tamper-proof form with de-identified references, as required for legal accountability.
